Job Duties
Lead and coordinate nationwide warehouse safety inspections and scheduled audits (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.
Conduct risk assessments and investigate incidents, determining root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Develop, deliver, and evaluate safety training programs and awareness campaigns, including initiatives like National Safety Month and Forklift Safety Week.
Monitor safety KPIs, incident reports, and near-miss data to identify trends and proactively mitigate risks.
Support new warehouse openings by establishing initial safety protocols and operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and C-TPAT regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and preparing for internal and external audits.
Manage inspections of safety equipment (PPE, fire extinguishers, emergency systems) and oversee hazardous material handling per WHMIS, TDG, and provincial requirements.
Promote a unified safety culture through regular communication, team meetings, and employee feedback systems.
Recommend and implement advanced safety technologies and management tools to enhance compliance and monitoring.
Provide administrative support and assist the team as required.
Job Requirements
Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in workplace safety, including leadership experience in multi-site warehouse or logistics operations..
Strong knowledge of workplace safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and implementing preventive measures.
Proven ability to develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs for diverse teams.
Understanding of Canadian OH&S laws, C-TPAT, and DOT regulations as applied in warehouse and logistics operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Willingness to travel nationwide for inspections, audits, and training sessions.
Fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written) is required.

Pay: CA$80,000.00 - CA$90,000.00 per year
