Vacancy Description 

Job Duties

  • Provide customers with tariff classification, valuation, marking, and guidance on customs and government agency requirements.

  • Coordinate the customs clearance of shipments and ensure accurate tariff classifications.

  • Assist customers in navigating CBSA requirements by preparing and submitting documents, determining tariff and duty payments, and tracking shipments.

  • Classify shipments, input data, and make necessary corrections and adjustments.

  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

  • Process CBSA releases accurately and in a timely manner for ocean, air, rail, and highway shipments.

  • Review invoices, manifests and other supporting documents for compliance with customs and corporate regulations.

  • Prepare and execute billings for entry-related services.

  • Collaborate with CBSA to resolve any issues that arise.

  • Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and other government agency requirements.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.


Job Qualification

  • CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) is preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in customs brokerage is an asset.

  • College or University degree in logistics, customs, supply chain management, or administration is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills in a team environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster and maintain client relationships.

  • Fluency in both English and Korean is preferred.
