Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage end-to-end import/export shipment operations and ensure efficient freight forwarding processes. The role involves coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, accurate documentation, and effective handling of operational exceptions.

Job Duties

• Coordinate international import/export shipment schedules with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery

• Monitor shipment status and proactively manage delays, damages, and other operational issues, including implementing corrective actions

• Support on-site logistics operations including gate control coordination, escort arrangements, and weekend or urgent issue handling

• Prepare and review shipping documents and logistics reports with accuracy and compliance

• Support freight cost estimation, quotation review, invoice verification, and settlement processes

• Maintain professional communication with internal teams and external stakeholders in English and Korean

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year university graduate or higher)

• Experience in logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding preferred

• Solid understanding of import/export processes and shipment coordination

• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Strong communication skills, especially in professional email correspondence

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong adaptability and emergency response capability

• Prior experience in freight forwarding companies or international logistics operations is an asset

• Experience handling customs clearance or cross-border shipping coordination is an advantage

• Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: CA$48,000.00 - CA$55,000.00 per year
